Our Camp is staffed with caring and loving counsellors, dedicated to giving our young campers care and attention as they experience a summer of camp fun. We maintain a 1:6 counsellor to camper ratio.
All Our staff are experienced, dedicated and well qualified in their respective fields. Our staff are dedicated to creating a safe and fun summer camp experience for your child.

Ahmed Mujtaba |
Profile – Mujtaba is in his own when he is among children with an excellent knowledge on insects even though his masters degree is from a botanical line on plant pathology. He is currently doing his PHD. His love for insects made him work with senior scientists on collecting, sampling, breeding, rearing and classification of insects. He has worked with Reino Kambara from Namibia on Hippopotamus. Volunteered as a football coach for Lourdes school. |
Ramesh Babu |
Profile – Armed with a masters degree from AVC college, Mayiladudurai, he has a great passion for wildlife and conservation which made him take this as a profession. He has worked on various projects including tiger, elephant, Lion tailed macaques. Travelled to many areas in Western Ghats and presently working on elephant research in Eastern Ghats of Karnataka. has submitted his PHD thesis on elephant research, and now working with Periyar Tiger Reserve / NTCA in educating and empowering locals on various aspects of nature and human animal conflict mitigation. He is an expert in tracking, setting up camera traps, census monitoring. |
Nina |
Profile – Completed BSc Bilology at Madras Christian college and MSc in marine biology currently working in National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management. A wildlife enthusiast, expert in rescuing snakes and handling dehydrated snakes. Interested in Wildlife , Photography, Eco- Journalism and Awareness for Conservation of Nature among children. Extremely child friendly and loves working with kids. Passionate about instilling a love for nature among kids. The kids simply love it when she is around. Part of the foundation of our camp on which our goodwill has been built. She is an amateur flutist and works part time at major music studios as a flutist. Recently started making beads jewelery to help buy projector / screen for chidlren’s hospital |
Hopeland |
Profile – Fondly called “Thala” meaning head in Tamil, he is our head naturalist. A treasure trove / encyclopedia of information on everything related to nature. After his MSc wildlife biology project on Nilgiri Thar. is helping many eminent researchers and other NGOs as a field volunteer in collecting / collating data for various projects. Expert in handling snakes and is a regular volunteer at Chennai crocodile bank with Nina and others. Experienced in tracking snakes. Widely knowledgeable about natural history. His passion for observing new things is matched by his enthusiasm in growing his knowledge on nature. He is equally comfortable in working with kids and adults, ensuring everybody is able to grasp his points when he is interacting with camp kids. Has been a part of the core team of Naturalists on whom our camp is structured helping other naturalists feel at home, giving them subtle tips on how to work with children. |
Davy |
Profile – Since his days as a Joint Secretary of Nature Club, Bishop Heber College Tiruchy, he has worked in ensuring the spread of love forwildlife. Presently doing his Masters of Teaching at University of Western Australia. He helps in organizing and conducted wildlife awareness programs for school and college students and to the general public. He is a butterfly identification expert and is able to identify more than 150 varieties of butterfly. Published papers in national and international conferences on nature topics. Works with various eco organizations on wildlife conservation. His patience and skills in working with children is matched by none. |
Allen |
Profile – After discontinuing Engineering, he found his true calling of working with children through a Master Course in Psychology. During his BSC Zoology at Madras Christian College, his hostel room was taken over by the various animals he had rescued at his college campus and outside including dogs, cats, snakes, etc. He is very natural with kids and they just love to play pranks on him which he sportingly uses for getting the kids interested in nature and wildlife. |

Profile – After his BSC Zoology from Madras Christian College, He is a naturalist under perpetual training with the motto “learning is constant. Has varied interests including wildlife photography, birds and snakes. Has been a volunteer for the turtle rescue mission, snake rescue teams. He is an expert in breeding and handling pets. |
Sarah |
Profile – Armed with a Masters in bio technology from Madras Christian College,“specializing in cutting and slicing DNA” this micro bilogist is interested in wildlife and photography. She mainly works on shrub jungle wildlife and snakes. She is also experienced in skywatching and spotting stars. |
Nethra |
Profile – Friendly and cheerful personality provides a helping hand to children in all regards. Assists children in daily activities and advices them suitably where ever required. She is also responsible for organizing games and fun carnival. She beautifully entertains children during bus travel with her games and other activities making sure they do not get bored at any point of time. We may call her an all rounder. |
Maria |
Profile – A Primary school teacher experienced with story telling, western dance and art and craft . Possesses lot of patience to handle children in the way that they love .At 5 pm children are behind her to grab a raw mango from the bunch that she plucks from the trees every evening. After 9 pm all campers are around her to attend the story telling session held by her. |
Sundaram |
Profile – Sundaram a local tribal, has been with us for the past 8 years as our trekking guide. He is well versed with the jungle routes, animal behaviour, tracking, ensuring a memorable experience for the children during trekking. |
