Frolic Boonies is happy to announce the launch of our new Marine Wildlife Camp at Maldives for children above the age of 11 years. The camp is scheduled between Dec 5^th To Dec 10^th 2024. Primary activity at the camp is snorkeling at the exotic house reef. Don’t let your child miss this golden opportunity to explore the colorful world of underwater creatures under safe hands. Maldives Camp Itinerary

Day 1: Flight from Bangalore to Male

• HuluMale to Island by speed boat
• Check-in at Guest House in Island
• Enjoy dinner at the hotel, comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Island.

Day 2, 3: At Island

• After breakfast, snorkeling along the house reef at Island.
• Lunch, spend time at beach, at Island
• Evening snorkeling before sun set
• Dinner at Hotel
• Night walk along the beach to observe nocturnal beach life and star gazing

Day 3: At Island

• After breakfast, snorkeling along the house reef at Island.
• Lunch, spend time at beach, at Island
• Evening snorkeling before sun set
• Dinner at Hotel
• Night snorkeling along the reef

Day 4: At Island

• Trip to nearby sandbank / uninhabited island for snorkeling / dolphin / whale watching.

Day 5:  Island – Male – Bangalore

• Proceed to airport by speedboat, flight from Male to Bangalore

About Snorkeling –

Snorkeling is the practice of floating on the shallow sea waters while equipped with a buoyancy jacket, diving mask, a shaped tube called a snorkel, and fins. Use of this equipment allows the snorkeler to observe underwater creatures with relatively little effort.

Snorkeling is the easiest and safe method to observe underwater life for swimmers and non swimmers in a natural setting without the complicated equipment required for scuba diving. Knowledge of swimming is not required for snorkeling.

Snorkeling Locations – About Bodufulhudhoo

Bodufulhudhoo Island is an inhabited local / public island in Maldives with an excellent house reef suitable for snorkeling. There are very few tourists in this island. The reef boasts of crystal clear water and it facilitates maximum exposure of marine wildlife while snorkeling.

Marine Wildlife sightings at Island

Marine wildlife sightings include Parrot fish, schooling snapper, barracuda, surgeonfish, , start fish, big-eye trevally, Napoleon wrasse, flute mouth, hawksbill turtles, angelfish, anemone fish, & Groupers to name a few. Few other residents include black tip sharks, white tip sharks, octopuses, giant morays, lionfish, shrimp, lobsters, sea cucumbers and nudibranchs of all shapes and colors. Please note sighting of wildlife is subject to luck.

Safety Measures –

Safety is primary at all camps organized by Frolic Boonies.

• Female instructors for female campers
• Experienced Snorkeling guides

Camp Fees & Payment Schedule:

• Marine Wildlife Camp Maldives Fees – Rs. 1,50,000 + return flight ticket to Male Per Person.
• At the time of Booking: 25% + Flight Ticket cost
• 45 days before departure: 50%
• 25 days before departure: Balance amount
• Booking starts on 15^th Aug, 2024
• Note 1 – After Sep 15^th the camp cost will raise if the flight ticket cost goes up.
• Note 2 – Loyalty discounts for previous campers, early bird discount and discounts of any kind not applicable for the Marine wildlife camp

Package Inclusions:

• AC Hotel accommodation on 3 sharing basis
• Breakfast lunch and dinner on all days
• All transfers between islands as per the itinerary
• Transfers to Bodufulhudhoo Island by Government or private ferry
• All entry tickets, permits and ferry charges included
• All Applicable taxes at Maldives included

Exclusions

• Return Airfare
• Travel Insurance
• Video camera rental fees
• Shopping at local gifts / handicrafts store
• Any Kind of Personal Expenses or Optional Tours / Extra Meals Ordered
• Anything not specifically mentioned under the head “Inclusions”.
• Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, strike, roadblocks and / or any factors beyond control.

Terms & Conditions

• Passport valid for 6 months from travel date
• Campers need to carry a personal flotation device (life jacket), snorkeling mask and fins.
• No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
• Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon availability at the time of check-in in the category of room as specified on your confirmation voucher.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation before March 01^st: Flight Ticket plus 15%/-
• From Mar 01^st to 25 days before departure: Flight Ticket plus 25%
• From 25 days before departure: No refunds
• No show: No refunds

Package Policies

• Early check-in or late checkout is subject to availability and the hotel may charge extra for the same.
• The package does not include charges for optional services and facilities (such as room service, mini bar, snacks or telephone calls). These will be charged directly from the guest at the time of checkout from the respective hotel.
